Ron first began attending SPAC in 1998 when he and his wife Lois were married. Two years later SPAC was part of sending Ron and Lois to Central Asia, where they lived for the majority of the next 7 years. Upon returning to Canada, Ron and Lois began serving newcomers to Canada. In 2017 Ron became the Executive Director of a Canadian charity. He has also served on the board of another Canadian Christian charity. Ron and Lois have two sons who love the Lord and are in university, commuting to campus from home each day. When able, Ron loves to disappear into a good book and get lost in a novel. But more often than not, he opts for interesting articles that stretch his thinking. He is excited to see how God is at work both in and through SPAC.
