Welcome to Sherwood Park Alliance. We're looking forward to meeting you! Whoever you are, wherever you're coming from, and whatever your faith journey looks like - we're confident that Sherwood Park Alliance could be your home church.
We have something for all walks of life where you are invited into a place of deep community, where you can be known, loved, and encouraged to grow in your walk with Jesus.
We believe that actively serving not only brings us closer to God but reminds us to love others as he does. Through serving, you'll use the unique ways that God has gifted you to help create welcoming environments where he can change lives.
At Sherwood Park Alliance, we want to make it easy for you to learn and grown in your understanding of Jesus.

We partner with many local organizations in various ways, from prayer to participation to financial support. Our goal is always to engage in respectful and compassionate collaboration to address and meet the needs of those in our communities.
The Compassion Fund exists to serve those both inside and outside our church community who are in financial need. There is a process to applying for this funding and parameters exist on the types of needs this fund can cover. Leadership of this fund includes ensuring the care and control of the funds used across the various initiatives. A large portion of this fund is used on a weekly basis with walk-in individuals and families seeking help with bill payments and gift cards for meals. However, many of the Outreach initiatives are also funded from the Compassion Fund which accounts for a large portion of the Outreach ministry at SPAC.

The Salvation Army is an international Christian organization that began its work in Canada in 1882 and has grown to become one of the largest non-governmental direct providers of social services in the country. The Salvation Army gives hope and support to vulnerable people today and every day in 400 communities across Canada and more than 130 countries around the world. The Salvation Army offers practical assistance for children and families, often tending to the basic necessities of life, provides shelter for homeless people and rehabilitation for people who have lost control of their lives to an addiction. When you give to The Salvation Army, you are investing in the future of marginalized and overlooked people in your community.
Our involvement with the Strathcona County Ministerial has led to new connections with Family and Community Services here in Sherwood Park. It has been a great way to have their staff become aware of the assistance we can provide both financially and relationally through various programs at Sherwood Park Alliance. These partnerships allow us to direct a significant portion of funds from the Compassion Fund towards a ministry which meets people in seasons of transition before they turn into seasons of long-term crisis due to lack of safe and affordable housing.
Every Sunday, church happens in a downtown parking lot. Bagged lunches are provided, donated clothes are laid out for those who need them, the love of Christ is shared, and His Word is read. Community happens here!
Sundays | 10-11 am | Parking Lot (11060-111 Ave NW in Edmonton)
